Canadian Taxpayers Federation supporting ‘Remember Us’ March in Caledonia

28 09 2007

Canadian Advocates for Charter Equality (CANACE) is pleased to announce that it has received the final draft of a statement from Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) spokesperson, Kevin Gaudet – on behalf of its 64,000 supporters – that will be be read at the ‘Remember Us’ March scheduled to take place in Caledonia on October 8th.

We are most grateful to the CTF for helping to send – just days prior to the Ontario election – a strong message to media, politicians and those responsible for the disastrous Two Tier Justice policies in Ontario that the citizens of Ontario and of Canada have no more patience for the injustices committed against innocent people – both native and non-native – due to state-sanctioned lawlessness during land claims.

The Canadian Taxpayers Federation has been very vocal in opposing the activities of the Ontario government and the Ontario Provincial Police in connection with landclaim lawlessness in addition to acting as a longtime watchdog on behalf of taxpayers with respect to funds allocated to native affairs.
